My name is Nicola, and I’ve worked in charity leadership for more than 20 years. I’ve been a CEO and Director, leading service delivery, fundraising and public engagement, and supporting organisations through major change, including strategic transformation and restructure.

I now work as a freelance consultant specialising in organisational design, staff development, governance and strategy. A big part of my work is helping people feel genuinely heard and making sure their experiences shape services, policy and influencing.

I first came across b:friend when I was a CEO in a similar field and admired their focus on community connection and delivering where it’s most needed. I’m really pleased to be a trustee and want to use what I’ve learned in my working life to support a cause I care deeply about.
