Free Wills Month with Best Solicitors
During February, we’ve partnered with Best Solicitors, a local solicitor working across South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire, to offer a free will-writing service.
Local people can benefit from having a free Will professionally drafted. Best Solicitors are waiving their fee and are instead asking clients to consider a voluntary donation to b:friend. The suggested minimum voluntary donation is just £75 for a single Will and £150 for a mirror Will for a couple.
Making a Will is really important to make sure your loved ones are taken care of, so it’s clear who you would like to inherit your estate. If you die without a Will, this may not happen.
Whilst there is no expectation to leave a gift in your Will or make a donation, we would be very grateful if you considered leaving a legacy to b:friend.
Just over 151,000 people over 65 live alone in our region. This is set to rise to 180,000 by 2041. Loneliness is having a severe impact on older adults, especially those who live alone.
