b:friend receives Volunteer Management Award

We were delighted to receive the Rotherham Volunteer Management Award from Voluntary Action Rotherham this year in recognition of the outstanding systems and support in place for volunteers at b:friend.

The Volunteer Management Award (formerly “kitemark”) is a mark of good practice and excellence in relation to volunteer management processes.

b:friend CEO, Colette Bunker, said: “Volunteers are the backbone of b:friend and it’s great to have recognition that, under scrutiny, our processes are fit for purpose and properly celebrate the impact of our volunteers.”
