Great Wall of China Trek

Great Wall of China Trek

Great Wall of China Trek

The Great Wall of China has been voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Stretching for 6,000km, it zig-zags its way across China, snaking across mountains and through valleys.

The Great Wall of China Trek is a fantastic charity challenge hiking for five days along this magnificent manmade structure. This challenge takes us over watch towers and mountains, through historic battlement stations that are well off the tourist trail – there are many sections where we’ll feel the Great Wall is for us only, with no-one else in sight.

The trekking on this charity challenge is hard, due to the number of steps we trek up and down each day – it can sometimes take an hour just to trek 1km! We also get the opportunity to conquer the 1,000 steps up to the wall at Mutianyu – culminating with the ascent of the ‘Heavenly Ladder’.

Glowing from our amazing success, we’ll have some free time to explore Beijing’s famous sites such as the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square before celebrating our achievement at dinner.

You’ll make friends for life, push yourself beyond your limits but most of all make memories you’ll cherish for a lifetime – this trek will not disappoint.

Come join our team of b:friend fundraisers, take up a thrilling adventure challenge and help end loneliness.
