Vote for b:friend & help tackle loneliness in South Yorkshire
We are delighted to announce that b:friend has been shortlisted for a grant by LNER’s Customer and Community Investment Fund.
Our charity is hoping to secure the grant for our projects in South Yorkshire, which help connect lonely and socially isolated older neighbours with the people and places around them through 1:1 befriending and Social Clubs.
To help us secure funding, please vote for b:friend and help us provide vital support for isolated older adults. Make a difference to someone struggling with loneliness with just a few clicks.

- Select the ‘Yorkshire & Humberside’ area & ‘Sheffield’
- Select the ‘Better for People’ category
- Scroll down and choose b:friend and our project: ‘Let’s end loneliness together. Let’s b:friend’
- The survey then will also allow you to choose an organisation in the ‘Better for Places’ and ‘Better for Planet’ categories, if you wish to do so (b:friend is not shortlisted in those categories).
